Denker & Wulf has sold the Quitzow Wind Farm, located in Brandenburg, Germany, to Allianz. The wind farm was developed and constructed by Denker & Wulf using Enercon E82 2MW wind turbines and has been operational since early 2009.
The wind farm has a total output of 24 megawatts and comprises 12 Enercon E82 2MW wind turbines with a hub height of 78 meters. It is expected to supply 45 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of energy each year.
"We are very pleased with the successful acquisition of Quitzow and the excellent co-operation with Denker & Wulf who already operate our Buettel and Proettlin wind farms. We hope to expand this relationship further in the coming years", said David Jones, CEO of Allianz Specialised Investments.
